    Called early in the morning and got a quick response. Same day service, in the morning. Our technician arrived on time, was courteous, and polite. He was thorough in inspecting our boiler, and was able to identify the problem. Although it was a long job to fix, he was explaining why he was doing what he was doing. Boiler is once again working, the house is warm. Would recommend Reliance. Glad we had the monthly protection plan, a small investment each month meant no out of pocket expense for the parts and maimtence work today.

    Yesterday Steve from Reliance Home Comfort came to inspect my furnace. He came within the time arranged and was very polite, friendly and informative. I was very pleased to see that he also had boot covers to save my floors from snow and salt.

    Once arrived he was extremely friendly and informative. Within a short amount of time he was able to diagnose the issue and source the part needed for the repair. The repair was made in a timely fashion with thorough explanation throughout the process. David was able to answer many other questions I had regarding the furnace and future upgrades. He was extremely professional and he was very skilled at what he does. If you are looking for top notch, courteous, skilled service I would defiantly recommend David at Reliance Home Comfort.

    Our furnace broke 5 days ago and we called reliance. The sales rep came over and discussed our options. We decided on a furnace and date for installation. After the sales man left our house we called him to ask if we were bound in a rental agreement. He stated that we were not and that papers signed were allowing reliance to order the selected furnace and instal. We told him over the phone that we would like to buy the unit rather then rent. He then told us to call him after the weekend holiday and we would finalize it. We called him three times with no return call however he did send us a text message saying that instillation would be on Tuesday. The men came and installed the furnace. Once they left we went down to see it and realized that it said property of reliance and that it was a rental unit. We tried calling the sales man who said it was no longer his problem. He stated that if we wanted to buy it now we would have to contact head office. We were also told that since they installed it as a rental it would cost almost an extra 1000$ dollars to buy as the rental came with added features. At the time of our meeting the furnace was on a Christmas special and now we apparently have to wait two weeks for the rental to be in the system in order for us to buy it. By this time the Christmas special would also be over and it would be full price plus the added features. We have been playing phone tag between head office and this sales man who are all telling us that it’s not there problem and to contact someone else. No one wants to help us. The service has been absolutely terrible and stressful. We are young new home owners and feel that we have been taken advantage of. I will never buy from them or rent from them again and will be telling everyone I know about there horrible service.

    We have met with the manager at Reliance who was very sorry about our experience. He is currently looking into the issues mentioned above and will be getting back to us with pricing info to buy the furnace. If all goes well, we will be very happy. The manager was very professional and listened to our concerns. Will be changing this review once we hear back from the manager and all is resolved.

    Outstanding service. Dan made it out here despite a busy weekend. He was friendly and he had the leak fixed and us up and running in no time as did both James and Ryan for setting me up on the maintenance plan and repairing my leaks on their initial visit. So far I have been very impressed with the service we have received. Thanks

    Update Feb 3 2018- Once again an outstanding experience. Discovered a rotted line below the kitchen sink while trying to sort out a dripping faucet. Called reliance and they worked a day that fit both out schedules. Dan came out this morning and was able to fix the kitchen lines (both of them) within 2 hours of arriving. As usual he was friendly and knowledgeable helping us figure a plan for the next step (old school 13 plus litre a flush toilets) again Dan and Reliance thanks for the fast virtuous and professional service. I really can’t praise that plumbing protection plan enough around 20 bucks a month and no more worries.

    Edit: we purchased a new boiler and experienced problems with the home heating function. Once again we had James come to do an inspection, very thorough and determine the correct malfunction with the machine then go out of his way to secure the needed part same night so that we could have heat before going to bed. Outstanding service.
