    Smack dab in downtown this beautiful park is somewhat maintained but I have encountered filthy porta-potties and used sharps. It seems like they're getting better at maintaining it and keeping it family friendly/safe for all.

    An excellent place to relax and enjoy the day! No smoking is the law. Memorial Park is no exception.

    I enjoy Memorial Park to break up my work day I just wish there was some more consistency in enforcing the no smoking bylaw. My friends were once told to put out their cigarettes before entering the park but I have never seen a police officer or bylaw law enforcement officer there to enforce the rules on a consistent basis. There is a great splash pad and play area for children and I enjoy reading the memorial walls.

    A very nice area to sit or bring your kids. They have water jets for the kids to play in during the summer. Although the park could use more seating area.
