  10 minutes before closing time and she's still helped me find my prom dress she stayed another 30 min just to help. I've went to other stores to look for a prom dress and was a negative experience but I was soo comfortable at Nelia's I definitely recommend going there especially if you're plus size ☺

  I have to disagree with some of the comments and reviews being made. Nelia goes above and beyond for all of her customers including myself and is one of the hardest working people I know. She has always been nothing but kind, honest and great at her job. She is also the best seamstress in all of Sudbury, she had fixed several of my dresses and it was always done perfectly. Myself and everyone else I know have had nothing bad to say about her or her business.

  She did not listen to what I was looking for. She had me try on dresses that looked nothing like what I wanted to try on because she wanted to sell her old dresses. She also said I have time to tone up before the wedding. I am very happy with my body and I don’t need to be body shamed when looking for a wedding dress.

  The negative reviews written here about Nelia's shop I feel paint the wrong picture. After visiting her today, I can say with certainly she is one of the few hard working women left, who gives her customers her complete attention and energy. Nelia was able to read my personality right away, and picked out a stunning dress for me. This dress was purple my favourite colour, which she picked up on and it was beaded which I never thought I could pull off, but she assured me and wow! Was she ever right. I'm so happy and pleased with my experience today and with my lovely dress. I thought finding a dress for my brother's wedding was going to be a tiresome, but it turned out to be such a good day. Neila made me feel really comfortable and reminded me of a mother like figure, so wonderfuly caring and honest. I would go back here 100% not just to buy a dress but just to say hello. High recommended this shop, she also has a great inventory, beautiful bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses. If I ever get married, I'll be paying her another visit for sure! Thank you Nelia
