A great little bakery with Scandinavian / European foods and goods. They have a variety of different baked goods including pulla (Finnish coffee bread), but also have some crystal and products for saunas here.

Delicious Finnish bakery - my favorites are the raspberry filled jelly pig donuts.

I've been stopping in at Leinala's since I was too young to remember! Always good to be in a Finnish atmosphere and have a nice lunch of Karjalan piirakka with lappi cheese, coffee, rahkapiirakka...Nice to have a regular place to stop in, on the long trip up north and back! Just one thing mars the experience (almost) every.single.time for just about a decade now. Openly hostile customer service staff is not hard to find.

Salted salmon is usually available in the freezer if you ask one of the employees. Usually two varieties of cheese, and delicious Finn desert bread by the loaf (some similarities to Challa, but cardamom, raisins - I like to cut a slice and put butter on it).

Very good bread and buns! I didn't catch her name, but (the owner?) was very nice and personable. If I ever visit the city again I will definitely come back.
